Henry Lim Discusses Trump and DACA on “Central Florida Spotlight”

“Local immigration attorney Henry Lim and Rollins College student Carlos Sanchez discuss concerns about immigration policy in Donald Trump’s administration on “Central Florida Spotlight” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on WFTV-Channel 9. Greg Warmoth hosts. Sanchez was brought here as a child illegally from Mexico by his parents and has benefited under President Obama’s executive action under Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. This program allows for certain young people brought into the country illegally to remain here if they’re in school or working. Sanchez tells his story, expresses concern about Trump’s campaign statements and appeals to the new administration to maintain the DACA program. Lim explains the legal ramifications if Trump rescinded the program. Warmoth also talks to local counselor Dwight Bain, who offers advice to those feeling post-election anxiety.”
